Perfumery Intermediate 10 Week Course Starting 19th February 2026

The Perfumery Intermediate 10 Week course has been designed to follow on from the Foundations training. The intermediate sessions add a further layer of experience and are designed with more lab time working on accords, bases and developing the skills of perfume composition.

In these sessions we cover:

Genealogy of fragrances and fragrance families.
Classical fragrance accords and structures (week by week study per fragrance family) and practical sessions on the structure of fragrance genres.
Building an accord and developing accords.
Developing perfume compositions.
Functions of ingredients in perfume formulas.
Evaluating compositions and formulation.
Further evaluation of raw materials.
Technical aspects in perfumery.
Lab skills, safety and techniques.
Record keeping.
Formula calculations and measurements.
Regulatory considerations and safety.

All materials are provided.

This Course is for students who have taken the Foundations course or who have undertaken some fragrance training. Places are limited to 4 students.
